Discription: This cherry desk was a commission for a retiring professor.  He wanted a work surface that would surround him so he could layout reference materials. Note that there is lots of leg rooms to allow him to roll his desk chair around his projects. To complete the surround I added pull out shelves at each end. The drawer faces have sculpted pulls done in relief.
