Discription: This  maple table top is 96” long X 42” wide X 1 1/2” thick and heavily figured with bird’s eyes. The leg design was inspired by the clients. Since the table would be resting on a maple floor they felt some sort of accent was needed to set it off. Each corner of the legs as well as the aprons is inlaid with a black African wood call wenge. They enjoyed the look of the wenge so much that they decided to have me make the chairs out the same material.
